The revamped Gozo Air Ambulance Service has launched today. The main aircraft, Airbus Helicopters EC135 registered 9H-EMS, is positioning to the Gozo Heliport where it will be based.

As before the service will be available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. A separate backup aircraft will be standing by in case of scheduled or unscheduled maintenance affecting the availability of the main aircraft. This will ensure uninterrupted availability for the communities of Gozo and Malta.
